MCCS Marina & Boating programs offer the water sport enthusiast a full range of boating and water amenities, where water and fun is met by your choice of sailboat, powerboat, kayak or paddleboard. Also offered is a full range of boating services from wet and dry storage to fueling. Your MCCS marina is here to ensure that more time is spent enjoying life on the water!

The Quantico Marina is located just past the town of Quantico at the end of Potomac Avenue. We have 150 wet slips that can accommodate vessels 14 to 50 feet in length. The docks are floating wooden structures with finger piers. The Marina has a fuel dock with 89 octane unleaded pump out station and small convenience store with ice, drinks, and snacks. Boat rentals are available 15 May – 15 October. If you are renting a boat, please call ahead for weather conditions. Children must be six years old to be passengers on any rental boat.

Virginia requires all motorboat operators to take Certified Boat Safety Course. Please visit Virginia Department of Game & Inland Fisheries website at www.dgif.virginia.gov/boating or call 804-367-1000 for class schedules.

Fishing License Requirements
Anglers age 16 and older fishing these waters must have in their possession a Virginia freshwater fishing license per Virginia fishing regulations, available online at www.dgif.virginia.gov/fishing. All fisherman on Quantico must register for an account on https://quantico.isportsman.net/. All fishing licenses are purchased online. Please be advised that fisherman must checkin/checkout using the iSportsman online platform.

Outdoor Gear does have rentals available for you to take to a body of water in Virginia. It includes kayaks, paddleboards, and more. Outdoor Gear is located at the Marina. Call for availability!

Outdoor Gear Rentals:

Gear Issue offers a wide variety of outdoor recreation equipment to rent for recreational use on a daily or weekly basis. This provides Marines, Sailors, and families an opportunity to enjoy these recreational activities while avoiding the expense of purchasing these items they may not use on a regular basis. Items range from lawn games, canopies, canoes, kayaks, stand up paddleboards, bikes, and camping supplies. Gear and equipment are available for unit events FREE of charge through your MCCS Area Coordinator.
Checkout Regulations:
Checkout options include 24 hours, weekday
(Mon-Thu), weekend (Fri-Mon), 7 days, and half-day.
Reservation may be made in advance with prepayment
Telephone reservations are accepted
Patrons turning in equipment late will be charged the allocated late fee
