About CSACC

The Substance Assessment and Counseling Center programs have earned a three year accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation Rehabilitation Facility (CARF).

What is CARF?
Commission on Accreditation Rehabilitation Facility is an independent, nonprofit organization focused on advancing the quality of services you use to meet your needs for the best possible outcomes. CARF accreditation signals a service provider's commitment to continually improving services, encouraging feedback, and serving the community. CARF provides accreditation services worldwide at the request of health and human service providers. Whether you are seeking rehabilitation for a disability, treatment for addiction and substance abuse, home and community services, retirement living, or other health and human services, you can have confidence in your choice. Providers that meet our standards have demonstrated their commitment to being among the best available.

Mission
The mission of the Substance Assessment and Counseling Program is to promote operational readiness, health, and wealth through substance misuse prevention and treatment services for service members and their families.

Vision
To positively change thinking, behavior and lifestyles.

Philosophy
Through the use of holistic, evidenced-based, person-centered, integrated and collaborative approaches to treatment, we believe Marines will be able to change negative thought processes and adapt positive thoughts and behaviors that will lead to wellness, recovery, and healthy lasting lifestyle changes.

Program Services

The Substance Assessment and Counseling Center (SACC) provides a continuum of substance misuse treatment and prevention services that are individualized and tailored to meet the specific needs of Marines, Retirees and their Family Members who are 18 years and older.
