CEC advocates for appropriate governmental policies, sets professional standards, provides professional development, advocates for individuals with exceptionalities, and helps professionals obtain conditions and resources necessary for effective professional practice.

EFMP Quantico
The Exceptional Family Member Program is a mandatory enrollment program (MCO P1754.4A) for all Active Duty personnel. The program is designed to provide assistance to service personnel with a family member(s) who has special medical and/or educational needs before, during and after relocation due to Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders.

The Parent Educational Advocacy Training Center (PEATC) is the parent information and training center serving families and professionals of children with disabilities in the Commonwealth of Virginia.  PEATC promotes respectful, collaborative partnerships between parents, schools, professionals and the community that increase the possibilities of success for children with disabilities.
