All-Marine Rugby Team Competes at 2025 Armed Forces Championship

The All-Marine Rugby team represented the Marine Corps at the 2025 Armed Forces Championship in Glendale, Colorado. Held in conjunction with the Rugbytown 7s Tournament at Infinity Park, this high-level competition brought together elite service-level teams from across the military.
Over the course of three days, the Marines competed in five matches against sister service branches, finishing 1–4 and securing fourth place. Despite the record, the team demonstrated resilience, grit, and competitive spirit throughout each match—especially during a hard-fought consolation final.
This year marked Maj Michael Bressler’s first time leading the All-Marine Rugby team. Reflecting on the experience, he shared:
“I am lucky to have a coachable group of men that were willing to set the foundations of a new All-Marine Rugby culture and fully buy into a new direction.”
Maj Bressler also emphasized the value of All-Marine Sports as a leadership development tool:
“The athletes came out of it as better leaders and better men who are motivated to continue to grow and become elite performers on and off the field.”
Programs like All-Marine Sports provide Marines with unique opportunities to grow through competition, camaraderie, and personal excellence—on the field and beyond.
