MCCS Cardboard Regatta Boat Race

Join us for an exciting cardboard boat race!

Assemble your team and join us for a thrilling cardboard boat race - a fun, creative event where you'll compete against other crews in vessels made entirely of cardboard and duct tape.

Teams of two will compete in respective heats, propelling their boats with paddles provided by MCCS. Teams of two will be child-child, child-adult, and adult-adult. Age range for child category is 5-11 years old and adult category is 12 years and older.

The length of the race will be 50 meters for adult teams and 25 meters for teams with one child or two children. The respective heats will be child-child, child-adult, and adult-adult and the race will be a tournament-style competition. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams for each heat.

All boats must be inspected prior to the race on either June 7 from 10:30 AM - 12:00 noon or June 13 from 1:00 - 6:00 PM. Participants are responsible for transporting their boats to and from the pool.

Paddles and life vests will be provided to participants and lifeguards will be on duty.
