  • Welcome to Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS), MCB Quantico! We are excited to have you as a member of our organization where dedication, team work, integrity, and professionalism are core to our success.     We look forward to meeting you at New Employee Orientation. There are 4 Steps that provide specific instructions on what you must complete prior to attending New Employee Orientation (NEO).

    Step 1 – Background Checks

    This offer is being made contingent upon completion of a suitability check and employment verification. Select the Equip link to complete the background check questionnaire electronically. You will find a quick reference guide to assist you. The suitability check must be submitted through Eqip before reporting to NEO. Print the release forms and certification statement, sign, and bring to NEO. YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO ATTEND NEO WITHOUT THESE FORMS. You will need to obtain fingerprint cards from the NAF Human Resources Office.

    Select the E-verify link to complete the employment eligibility questionnaire. Once complete, print and sign the eligibility statement and bring it to NEO.

    If your position requires a health Card. Please select the Health Card link and follow instructions.

    Step 2 – Required Documents and Resources

    All required documents are listed  under “Required Documents” box. You are required to complete, print, sign, and bring these forms with you to NEO. The form list provided will assist you in ensuring you have printed and signed all required forms.  We must verify your employment eligibility with an I-9 form, using the acceptable documents. In addition, direct deposit of your pay check to a checking or savings account is mandatory.  In addition, you are required to read all policies listed within the “Policy” box. You are not required to print these, however you will be signing acknowledgement and understanding of those policies when you sign the required documents.

    Step 3 – Benefits

    If you are selected into a Regular Status position, which is indicated in your offer letter, you are eligible to participate in a vast array of Employee Benefit plans. Please review the Benefits to familiarize yourself with these plans. Please ensure that you have a beneficiary information, to include name, social security number, dates of birth, and current address of any person(s) you wish to name as beneficiary. This is for your information only.  You are not required to complete any enrollment forms now but will be required to do so at NEO if you want to sign up immediately. I encourage you to take full advantage of all the programs and services we offer to our employees.

    Step 4 – Preparing for New Employee Orientation

    This information will assist you in preparing to attend NEO. Please review this tab to ensure you are fully prepared to attend NEO. If you have any questions, please contact your HR Recruiter prior to Friday at 4:00pm before your scheduled NEO date.

  • STEP 1 – BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIREMENTS

    EQIP – Suitability Check

    Select the EQIP link to complete the background questionnaire electronically. You will be required to create your own golden questions and answers. Please remember to write these down and keep in a safe place. You will need these if you have to close out of the questionnaire and log back in later to complete it. The Suitability Check must be submitted through EQIP before reporting to New Employee Orientation (NEO).  Once you complete the questionnaire, you will be prompted to print the signature forms which consist of a release form and certification form. You must print these forms, sign them and bring them to New Employee Orientation. After printing the signature forms you must release the background check to agency in order for the Human Resources Office to review and submit to Office of Personnel Management for completion. 

    Please contact your HR Recruiter if you encounter log in errors.

    You must pick up blank fingerprint cards from the Human Resources Office. Fingerprints are completed at the Security Office, Lejeune Hall Basement, Monday-Friday

    You will not be permitted to attend NEO without these forms.

    E-verify self check is a service that is free, web-based application that can be used by anyone in the U.S. over the age of 16 to confirm his or her employment eligibility.

    Please select the E-verify link and follow the instructions. Once you have printed your authorization, please bring the authorization to NEO and provide the Human Resources with a copy.

  • Step 3- Benefits

    The employee benefits package available to all regular full time and regular part time civilian Marine Corps non-appropriated fund (NAF) employees provides a full range of options, including health insurance, life insurance, a group retirement plan and a 401(k) savings plan.

    Enrollment in the benefits package is available to all eligible employees during their 31 day eligibility period.  Failure to enroll during that period may result in delay or loss of coverage opportunity.  Consult your local personnel office for more details.

  • Step 4- Preparing for New Employee Orientation

    In preparation to attend New Employee Orientation (NEO), please contact the Human Resources office prior to Friday at 4:00pm the Friday before your scheduled NEO date. if you have any questions.

    Required Documents

    Please confirm the date and time your NEO is scheduled and arrive on time, with all required documents printed, completely filled out, and signed. Please ensure you bring with you the required documents to complete the I-9 Form and any benefits that you may sign up for.

    Identification

    (one photo ID and one document that establishes employment authorization)
    Photo ID:
    Driver’s license
    ID card issued by federal, state or local government agency
    School ID

    Documents that Establish Employment Authorization
    Social Security Card
    Birth Certificate
    Passport 

    Voided check for mandatory direct deposit.
    Social Security numbers and birth dates for dependents, if applicable.

    Dress Code for NEO

    The dress code for NEO is business casual and it is strictly enforced. Please do not wear tank tops, halter tops, or shirts that show your midriff and no shirts with vulgar or profane slogans or pictures. No jeans, no flip-flops, nothing too tight or too revealing and no shorts. You will not be allowed to attend NEO if you fail to adhere to the dress code.

    Lunch and Breaks During NEO

    You will be provided a lunch break.  We have refrigerators if you prefer to bring your lunch with you or there are fast food and restaurants available on base such as The Clubs at Quantico, Subway, Taco Del Mar, and McDonalds.
